Background information

The Association for Students Studying Economics in Tilburg is the umbrella study association for all students of Tilburg School of Economics and Management. Asset has approximately 6000 members and 650 active members in over 100  committees. It is one of the largest study association of Europe.
The association has seven departments which all have their own board. The general board of Asset consists of the chairmen of these boards and the Chairman of Asset. In total Asset has 42 full time board members. They dedicate a year to provide services and activities for the TiSEM student. The services and activities that Asset provides can be distinguished into three groups, namely: study support, career development and social cohesion.
The Chairman of Asset is responsible for the internal coordination, the strategy and the policy of the association. Furthermore, the Chairman is responsible for representing the association externally. The position accounts for at least 40 hours per week, excluding activities taking place in the evenings. You are expected to join a couple of social and formal events organised by Asset general throughout the year. You have the opportunity, but are not expected to join events organised by the Asset departments.
